Hint: Living organisms are classified into various groups on the basis of their physical and morphological characters. The organisms are broadly classified into two, three, four to eight kingdoms. Later on organisms of these kingdoms were classified into phylum, class, order, family, genus and species. Four kingdoms include the kingdom monera.

Complete answer:
Classification of organisms is very important to make the study of organisms easier. Firstly two kingdoms were given which includes kingdom plantae and kingdom animalia. After this, three kingdom classifications were given by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek. The invention of microscopes helps to distinguish organisms as prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The four kingdom classification was given by Herbert F. Copeland in 1938. He creates the novel kingdom Monera of prokaryotes organisms. The four kingdom classification includes Kingdom Monera, Protista, Plantae, Animalia.
Later on, Robert Whittaker recognized an additional kingdom for the fungi. In 1969, he proposed five kingdom classifications. Kingdom plantae includes multicellular autotrophs, kingdom animalia includes multicellular heterotrophs, and fungi include multicellular saprotrophs.
Ernst Haeckel was a german zoologist, who discovered names of thousands of species and he also coined many terms in biology. He also proposed the kingdom Protista.
Carl Linnaeus gave the rules for the biological nomenclature of organisms. He also distinguished two kingdoms of living things.
From the above information we know that four kingdom classifications were proposed by Copeland.

Hence, the correct answer is option (B).

Note: Living organisms are also classified into six kingdoms by Carl Woese in 1977. Seven kingdom classifications were given by Cavalier-Smith in 2015. On the basis of difference between Eubacteria and Archaebacteria eight kingdom classifications was given by Thomas Cavalier-Smith. He divided Eubacteria into subkingdoms.
