Hint:It is made from very thin strands and is called fibers. It could be either natural or synthetic in nature or in filament or staple form.

Complete answer:
Yarn is a thread made up of continuous interlocked fibers. Fiber is a thin thread-like structure that is thin, long as well as flexible strands. The two main sources of fibers are plants and animals. The faults in the yarn are removed by a process called the preparation process. The preparation process is a process in which yarn is transferred from a spinning package to a form of a package which results in facilitating the weaving process. This helps the yarn for looking better in appearance and good performance.
The weaving process is where two separate sets of threads or fibers are interlocked and formed a fabric or cloth. Other ways are knitting, crocheting, felting, and braiding or plaiting. The thread that goes longitudinal is known as warp whereas the thread that goes lateral is known as weft, woof, or filling. The characteristic of the cloth is defined by how the threads are interwoven. A loom is a machine on which cloth is usually woven. It is a device that holds the thread in its place while each thread is woven through them. The things which make the Pochampally ikat stand out from others are its smoothness and neatness.
There are two types of ikats-
1.Single ikats fabric is obtained by interweaving tied-dyed warp and then woven with the weft, which can be of a different color or one basic color.
2. Double ikats include the process of both warp and weft tied-dyed and placed in such a manner that both works with each other for a decided design with a signature bleed. The color of ikats is mostly obtained from natural resources. The fabric can range from cotton, silk, and si-co, which is a combination of cotton and silk.

The correct answer is Option A.

Note:The things that make Pochampally ikat stand out from others is its smoothness and perfection by which design is put on to the fabric. Any weaving process starts with the preparation of yarn. The art of making Pochampally saree or Pochampally Ikat goes back to the 1950s in the town of Bhoodan Pochampally, Telangana.
