Hint: We need to arrange the numbers in ascending or descending order. Then we need to find the median that is the middle number found by ordering all data points and picking out the one in the middle.

Complete step-by-step answer:
First of all this is the ungrouped data,
Ungrouped data is the data you first gather from an experiment. The data is raw, that is it’s not sorted into categories, classified or otherwise grouped. An ungrouped set of data is basically a list of numbers.
When $n$ is odd, $n$ is nothing but the total numbers from the data.
All we need to do is to find median is,
Median$={{(\dfrac{n+1}{2})}^{th}}$ Item
Here we have the numbers,
$42,67,33,79,33,89,21$
So $n=7$
First we need to arrange the numbers in ascending or descending orders.
$21,33,33,42,67,79,89$ This is in ascending order.
Now,
Median$={{(\dfrac{7+1}{2})}^{th}}$ Item
Median $={{4}^{th}}$ Item
That is we need to pick the ${{4}^{th}}$ term from $21,33,33,42,67,79,89$
Hence median is $=42$

Note: When $n$ is even all we need to do is finding $\dfrac{n}{2}\And (\dfrac{n}{2}+1)$ numbers then find the average of the two numbers to get the median.
