The common problem associated with the environmental hazard which we face in the modern world is global warming. Global warming is responsible for various gases present or released in the atmosphere.
These gases come from various vehicles and industries. The hazardous gases include sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and methane etc. These gases are commonly termed as greenhouse gases. They are known to absorb heat from the sunlight. Due to this the temperature of the atmosphere is increased. As a result they cause depletion of ozone layers and also the ice melts present in the North Pole and South Pole.
In order to avoid such type of catastrophic effect in the environment, it is better to change the fuel used in vehicles. That is why CNG means compressed natural gas is introduced.
CNG is a biofuel which is less polluting. It is because the carbon content is lesser and hence the increase of carbon in the atmosphere is reduced. This leads to overcome the problem of global warming to some extent.
There are a lot of advantages of using CNG as fuel. CNG burns easily giving a lot of heat energy. It does not produce smoke and is known as clean fuel. It is easily transported through pipelines.
