Hint: particles move from higher concentration to lower concentration to reduce their overall energy as started every system tries to reduce its overall energy this phenomenon happens in liquid and gases only.

Complete answer:The movement of particles from higher concentration to lower concentration with any external disturbance as they internally collide with each other and eventually spread throughout the empty space this phenomenon is known as diffusion. The rate of diffusion depends on many factors like the concentration gradient, equilibrium of the system, temperature, mass of the particle, and many more.
The medium in which the diffusion can be of three physical States. The speed of diffusion depends on the character of interaction between the material and the medium. Diffusion is fast in gases lighter gases diffuse faster than denser gases. Gases diffuse very quickly in the air, slowly in liquid and slowest in solid. The rate of diffusion depends on the mass of matter. A large particle moves at the slowest pace resulting in a slower rate of diffusion. lighter particles will diffuse at a faster rate. The movement of particles determines the speed of diffusion. Particles move due to inbuilt kinetic energy with the rise in temperature, the kinetic energy gets boosted.
Diffusion is the passive movement of a substance from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration. The diffusion of substances plays an important role in cellular transport in plants. Diffusion takes place as long as there is a difference between the concentration of substance across a barrier to stop however diffusion stops when the concentration of the substance on the other side of the barrier becomes equal. The permeability of a membrane affects the rate of diffusion. Diffusion rate increases as membrane permeability increases. Changes in temperature and pressure values also affect the diffusing substances.
Thus, the answer is option C: i ,ii, iii, iv are correct.

Note:Graham's law on the rate of diffusion states that the rate of diffusion is inversely proportional to the square root of density of a gas.
