Hint: An atom is the smallest unit of matter which forms a chemical element. Matter is anything which occupies space and has definite mass. Matter exists in three states which are known as states of matter; these are known as solid, liquid and gas.
Complete Step by step answer:
Every atom is composed of a nucleus and this nucleus is made up of protons and neutrons where protons are positively charged and neutrons are neutral in charge and electrons which are positively charged are revolving around the nucleus.
When different elements undergo through different chemical reactions then atoms are rearranged into new compounds which held together with the help of chemical bonds.
The term poac is an abbreviation used for the term Principle of Atom Conservation. This is basically used to solve a chemical equation. There is one main advantage of poac that there is no need of balancing a chemical reaction if we adopt poac in any equation. Balancing the equation is somewhat difficult. This poac is based on the conservation of mass of an atom or mole of an atom.
The main example of poac is
Moles of K in (Reactant) = Moles of K in (Product)
Hence in this we can explain poac.
Note: Mole is generally represented by the symbol mol. It is generally described as the unit of measurement for the amount of substance in SI where SI stands for International System of units. It is defined on the basis of Avogadro’s number.
