The kidneys filter wastes and excess fluids from the bloodstream, which are then expelled in urine. When the kidneys lose their ability to filter, harmful quantities of fluid, electrolytes, and toxins can accumulate in the body.
You may have no indications or symptoms early on in chronic renal disease. As chronic kidney disease progresses to end-stage renal disease, the following signs and symptoms may manifest Vomiting, nausea, Appetite loss, fatigue and weakness sleeping difficulties.
Changes in how much you urinate, decreased mental sharpness, Muscle twitches and cramps, swelling of feet and ankles, Persistent itching, Chest pain, Shortness of breath (if fluid builds up in the lungs), High blood pressure (hypertension).

The nephrons are the target of the majority of kidney disorders. The kidneys may be unable to eliminate waste as a result of this injury. Genetic issues, trauma, and medications can all be factors. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, or a close relative with kidney disease, you're more likely to get renal disease. Chronic renal disease wreaks havoc on the nephrons over time. Other issues with the kidneys include: stones, cysts, infections, cancer.
