Hint: Eardrum is the inner part of the ear which helps to propagate sound waves through the ear canal. The eardrum is a flap-like structure, thin membrane which is stretched tight so that when the waves hit the drum it vibrates like a drum. The vibrations from the sound waves move the tiny bones of the middle ear and send these vibrations to the inner ear.
Complete answer-
a) Hearing Organ- ear is the sensory organ which helps to hear through sound vibrations. It helps in hearing and balance. Pinna and external auditory canal are the external portion of the ear.
Option A is the correct answer.
b) Sound producing Organ- sound producing organ is the mouth oral cavity which elongates till the lungs and the vocal box is the larynx which produces sound.
Option B is not the correct answer.
c) Muscular system- muscular system is a physiological system which include- muscles and tissues in the body.
Option C is not the correct answer.
d) None of these- this option is incorrect as the one of the above options is correct.
Option D is not the correct answer.
Note:
Pinna is the exterior part of the ear which collects the sound and pushes towards the tube which connects the outer ear and middle ear. The middle ear which is the eardrum is the tympanic membrane divides the outer ear from the middle ear. And the inner ear has nerve endings and receptors for balance called vestibules and semicircular canals.
