To proceed any further in a question we first need to draw a circle.

In the above circle we can see the two blank spaces with respect to the circle, one blank space lies inside the boundary of a circle and the other blank space lies outside the boundary of a circle. In the below figure, we have shaded the interior region of a circle for a better visualization.

In the above figure, we can see the shaded region. The shaded region is the interior region of the circle (or in other words the shaded region is the area inside the boundary of a circle). Now, we know that any surface or area is an array of points so in the shaded region there are an infinite set of points. To mark a point in the interior of the circle is to mark a point anywhere in the shaded region.
