Hint: This block diagram of a simplified communication system consists of a transmitter and receiver to allow beginners to understand the steps required to send and receive information between two locations.

Complete Step-by-Step solution:

The transmitter's aim is to transform the modulated signal to a signal that is consistent with transmission media carrying. Unless the fibre optic cable was to be the transmitting medium, then the signal needs conversion to light using the required optoelectronic circuitry. Unless the transmitting media were to be air, then conversion into an electromagnetic wave would be necessary.
A transducer is a tool that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy in the form of vibration, pressure, and change force. As it does this it acts as an input device that converts "information" into electrical energy. One such part is a piezoelectric system which can do this. This type of technology can also transform electrical energy back into mechanical power. It looks like an output computer when it does that. A microphone would be the input transducer, and a loudspeaker may be the output transducer.
Modulation is the phase where the carrier wave is modulated by a modulation system, whether the frequency modulation or the amplitude modulation. It can include changing the carrier's amplitude according to the data signal. Additionally, it can require the frequency change according to the information signal. Demodulation is the opposite operation, which extracts the carrier's useful information.
The source of carrier waves is normally an oscillator circuit, producing sine waves. The carrier waves have the amplitude, frequency, and phase constant. A second wave that carries information is normally placed on the carrier wave.

Note: High frequency radio waves over air may be a suitable network. It could be carried by a telegraph wire too. Unless the carrier wave was to be very high frequency then the transmission could also be carried by a coaxial cable.
