Hint:For finding unit rate ,we must know that for a unit rate the denominator of the expression needs to be one always , this is the prior condition. Now for finding the unit rate , we have to divide the denominator with the numerator of the given number in a way that the denominator will become one. When our denominator becomes one then we say that we get that unit rate of that particular number.
Complete step by step answer:
In mathematics we find unit rate by dividing the numerator of the number with some denominator so that the coming result must have one as the denominator.Let us take an example, suppose we have an expression which says if the numerator of the given number is $30$ km and the denominator is $2.5$ hours,
$ \Rightarrow \dfrac{{30}}{{2.5}}$ km per hour.
Then the unit rate is given by ,
$ \Rightarrow \dfrac{{\dfrac{{30}}{{2.5}}}}{1}$ km per hour.
$\therefore\dfrac{{12}}{1}$ km per hour.
So ,here we see how one can find the unit rate of the given expression.
Note:Unit rate in mathematics is used to find the unit that compares two quantities, that is how many units of the particular quantity corresponds to the one unit of another quantity. For instance, a unit rate is kilometres per hour . In mathematics we find unit rate by dividing the numerator of the number with some denominator so that the coming result must have one as the denominator.
