Hint: All living things respond to the environmental stimuli. Plants also respond to the changes with the help of chemical reactions happening within the cells.

Complete answer:
Coordination is the ability to use the various sections of the plant together, smoothly and efficiently. Coordination in plants is the result of a chemical mechanism in plants whereas plant hormones and phytohormones also play a major role .
Plant hormones or phytohormones
They are responsible for the management and chemical coordination in plants. There are various forms of hormones that influence the growth of a plant. Phytohormones are chemical compounds produced by activated cells. These hormones are distributed throughout the cells of the plant. They have a role to play in cell division , cell enlargement, cell differentiation, fruit development, dropping leaves, fruit ripening, plant ageing, etc.
Functions of plant hormones
1) Auxin: They assist with cell growth at the tips of the shoot. By elongating the cells, they aid in the process of development.
2) Gibberellins: These hormones are responsible for stem cell growth, seed germination and flowering.
3) Cytokinins: Helps in functioning of cell division.
4) Abscisic acid: Helps in closing the stomatal pores.

Note: Different plants hormones are responsible for growth, development and tropic responses. For example, auxin, cytokinins and gibberellins are growth hormones, ethylene is fruit ripening hormone while abscisic acid is growth inhibitory hormone.
