Hint: Spores are the reproductive cells which take part in reproduction. The spores can take part in asexual reproduction. The spores can be motile as well as nonmotile.

Complete answer:
The spores are the reproductive cells that undergo reproduction. They do not involve fusion unlike sex sells but they undergo asexual reproduction. Spores are produced by lower microorganisms like bacteria, fungi, algae and also by the lower plants like ferns. Depending on the motility, the spores are of two types-
i) Zoospores-.
ii) Aplanospores.

The difference between the two are as follows-
ZoosporesAplanospores
These are the reproductive motile spores that take part in asexual reproduction in bacteria, fungi and protozoans. These are the reproductive non-motile spores that take part in asexual reproduction in bacteria, fungi.
These are comparatively smaller in size. These are comparatively larger in size.
They are found in PhycomycetesThese are found in green algae.
They do not have a cell wall.Cell wall is present.
They are sensitive to harsh environments. They are inert to harsh environments.
They have flagella for locomotion.Flagella is absent.
They have endogenous food reserve for locomotionFood reserve is absent.
They are produced as asexual structureThey are produced as vegetative structure.

Note: Different organisms produce different types of spores. The spores of the bacteria also have a type of spore which help them to survive the harsh environment. Under high temperatures, chemicals or pH these bacteria form a spore around them due to which they are unaffected by the change in the physical environment.
