Hint: We have to know that in chemistry molecules are made up of bonds only. There are three types of bond in the chemical bond. There are ionic bonds, covalent bonds and coordinate bonds. The covalent bond is nothing but the mutual sharing of electrons between the two atoms in the molecule. The ionic bond means one atom donates the electron and another accepts the electron in the molecule. The coordinate bond is nothing but the one atom donating the lone pair of electrons to the another atom in the same molecule.

We must have to know that the covalent bond is important for the organic chemistry. In this covalent bond depend on the mutual sharing of electrons between the atoms in the molecules. In that mutual sharing of electrons in the atom, some overlapping of orbitals are also involve. In this overlapping of orbitals, involve the mutual sharing of electrons in the atom. These overlapping are classified as two types are head wise overlapping and sidewise overlapping. There are two types of covalent bonds. There are sigma bond and pi bond. The sigma bond arises due to the head-wise overlapping of the atomic orbital in the molecular orbitals. The pi bond arises due to the side wise overlapping of the atomic orbitals in the molecular orbitals.
The single bond has only one bond that is sigma bond only. The double bond means two bonds are formed between the atoms in the molecules. That two bonds are one bond is sigma bond and other bond is pi bond.

We must have to remember that the hydrogen bond is also one of the important bonds in the chemistry. Without hydrogen bonds nothing in the world. There are two types of hydrogen bond. There are intermolecular hydrogen bonds and intramolecular hydrogen bonds. The hydrogen bond is dependent on the most electronegativity atom in the molecule.
