Deva Raya ll was the emperor of Vijayanagara empire. He wrote books in Kannada and Sanskrit language. She was a supporter of secular literature as well as South Indian mathematics. His rule is considered as the golden age of South Indian monarchs. Even when he was a crown Prince he had tasted success in battle against people like the Bahmani sultanate. He also fought three important and big battles against gajapati of Odisha.
