Complete answer:
The impact or aftermath of the Great Depression was enormous on the economic front, including both extreme human suffering and imperative changes in economic policy as well. Therefore, the 1830s were years of great economic hardship in Europe.
(i)Due to the population increase witnessed in all over Europe in the nineteenth century, people from rural ( villages) areas often migrated to the urban cities to live in overcrowded slums and were seeking jobs.
(ii)With the imports of cheap machine-made goods from England, the small town producers faced stiff competition. As the phase of industrialization was more advanced in England, whereas in Europe the textile production was mainly carried out in homes or small workshops and was only partly mechanized as it was mostly part of home-based industries.
(iii)The aristocracy enjoyed power under the system of Feudalism where the lands were held by nobility, in exchange of military services, in the various regions of Europe, the peasantry struggled under the burden of feudal dues and obligations.

Note: The period of 1830's can be referred to as the age of revolution; it witnessed the change from aristocratic society to one with a proper written constitution. The phase of industrialization was also witnessed in this year as well.
