Hint: During the chemical reaction, some electron losses and gain as well as some carboxylic groups also reduced. Many times, these all happen because of the reducing agent. Electronegativity also plays a very important role in chemical reactions.

Complete answer:
Firstly, let's discuss reducing agents.
Reducing agent- The compound or an element loses the electron from the oxidizing agent in the redox reaction.
Redox reaction - It is the kind of reaction where oxidation and reduction both are happening simultaneously.
Oxidizing agent- The compound or an element accepts the electron.
Now, come to the LiAlH4 .
It is a strong reducing agent that is Lithium Aluminum hydride. It can reduce aldehydes, esters, ketones, carboxylic acid, and carboxylate salts to alcohol. It also helps to reduce nitro groups.
The reason behind its work is the low electronegativity of Aluminum. Thus, the AlH bond is highly polarized with Al positive and H negative. Many times, hydrogen shows abnormal behavior. It reduces its electron and becomes positive.
We need to take care of safety too during the reaction because it is flammable. It also needs an anhydrous condition for the reaction.
Anhydrous - It is a substance that contains no water.

Note:Oxidation reaction - It is a reaction where the electron loses and increases the oxidation state.
Reduction reaction- It is the type of reaction where an electron accepts and decreases the oxidation state of an atom. The reduction is also known as the removal of oxygen from the element. There is a polar covalent bond between oxygen and carbon. Oxygen is more electronegative than carbon so electrons spend more time around oxygen.
