Hint: The temperature at which a substance boils or freezes does not change, however the scale of measurement of temperature can be converted to one another by using certain formulas.
The usage of kelvin scale for temperature has a significance as the zero of the scale indicates absolute zero temperature or kinetic energy.

 Complete step by step answer:
The measurement of temperature can be done using three kinds of scales namely Celsius, Kelvin and Fahrenheit. The most commonly used scales which we have used in laboratories are the Celsius and Fahrenheit scales. However, the Celsius scale is now outdated. It can be defined in accordance with the two fixed points, namely the stream and the ice points. The temperature of the ice point would be 0 Celsius and the stream point would be 100C.
And the term kelvin can be defined as the fraction 1273.16 times of the thermodynamic temperature for triple points of water. The unit of this scale of temperature is Kelvin.
Now, as per the question we are supposed to answer how to convert Celsius into kelvin. We know that water freezes at zero degree Celsius which is also equal to 273 kelvin. Similarly, 273 degree Celsius is equal to zero kelvin. So, in order to convert Celsius into kelvin we will simply subtract 273 from it. The equation can be expressed as
C=K273
Where, C is the temperature in Celsius and K is the temperature in kelvin.

Note:The conversion of Celsius to Kelvin scale of temperature requires subtraction of the value 273 from the value of temperature in kelvin. The value of Celsius and kelvin cannot be equal at any temperature, as the Kelvin scale indicates different variations of the Celsius scale.
