Hint:For solving this question, we should have some knowledge about fractions. A fraction is generally used to represent any number of equal parts. It has mainly two parts, which are Numerator and the second is Denominator. The number which is on top is called a numerator, while the number at the bottom is called a denominator.
Step by Step answer:
There are major six types of fraction. They are termed as the, Proper fractions, Improper fractions, mixed fractions, like fractions, unlike fractions and equivalent fractions.
Flemish mathematician Simon Stevin introduced Decimal fractions in 1586. Fractions is an important foundation for learning more advanced mathematics.
Fraction helps the children to understand the nature of numbers and their interactions. If a child fails to learn about fractions, it will automatically interfere with his ability to learn about algebra later.
There are certain professional jobs which require some knowledge about fractions. These include:- computer programmers, scientist, economist, urban planner, lawyer and quantitative analyst
Now, we will solve the given question, by using diffraction.
\[let\,\,x = 0.3666......\] -(i) eq.
Now, multiplying the first equation by 10 we get
$10x = 3.666........$ -(ii) eq.
From subtracting equation (i) from the equation (ii).
We get $9x = 3.3\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,or\,\,\,\,\,\,\,x = \dfrac{{3.3}}{9}\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,or\,\,\,\,\,\,\,x = \dfrac{{11}}{{30}}$
Hence the given answer is $x = \dfrac{{11}}{{30}}$.
Note: Fractions are important in our life because they tell us what portion of a whole we need, or want. For example – The fractions are used at the time of baking generally tell us how much of an ingredient we have to use. Fractions are also used to tell time.
