Complete answer:
A continent refers to a large, continuous, distinct mass of land conventionally considered as a collective region. The continents also include the neighbouring islands. These seven continents in the decreasing order of size are as follows:

ASIA – It is the most populous continent in the world. It has the most rivers in the world. It has northern grasslands called ‘steppes’, deserts in China, Middle East, India etc. The northern region is cold and called the ‘tundra’. It has a temperate and cold climate in higher latitudes and tropical climate in lower latitudes.

AFRICA – The continent is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea in the north, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean in the east and the Atlantic Ocean in the West. It has the world’s largest desert, The Sahara. It also has the Great African Lake and Rainforests which are home to the diverse flora and fauna.

NORTH AMERICA – It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean in the West and the Atlantic Ocean in the East. Its west coast is connected to the western mountain ranges. The hottest place, the Death Valley is located here. It’s Great Plains and coastal plains are located in the east.

SOUTH AMERICA – It is surrounded by the South Atlantic Ocean in the east, South Pacific Ocean in the west and the Southern Ocean in the south. It has a hot wet climate, similar to the tropical climate of Africa. The Great Amazon Basin is located on this continent. It is the Largest River and the most diverse rainforest in the world.

ANTARCTICA – It is the coldest place on earth. It is surrounded by the Southern Ocean. It is so cold that the Southern Ocean is frozen for hundreds of kilometres off the shore of the continent.

EUROPE – It is a small continent located to the north of Africa and the Mediterranean Sea. The Black Sea and Caspian Sea (largest lake) are located to its east. It’s northern Arctic part is covered in ice. It has no desert and is a relatively cold continent.

AUSTRALIA– It is an island surrounded by the Southern Ocean in the south, the Indian Ocean in the west and the Pacific Ocean in the North-East. Australia has the Great Dividing Mountain Range, Volcanic Plateau and the Coastal Plains. Deserts are located to its west. The marine wildlife around Australia is also very rich.

Therefore the correct answer is C

Note
Russia is part of both Europe and Asia. In fact, in the seven continent model, it is not always clear where to place Russia.
Nevertheless, we had to place Russia in one of the continents, so we placed it in Europe, following the United Nations classification.
About 75% of the Russian population is settled in the European continent. On the other hand, 75% of Russian territory is found in Asia.
