Hint:We will discuss the statements and hence conclude the correct ones. The Satavahanas, also known as the Andhras succeeded the Mauryas in the Deccan after a gap of hundred years. Simuka was the founder of the Satavahana dynasty. The Satavahana power was at its best under Gautamiputra Satkarni. He is known from an inscription composed by his mother, Gautami Balashri.

Complete answer:
Let us discuss Yajna Sri satakarni .Yajna Sri satakarni, also known as Gautamiputra. He is considered as the last king of the Satavahana dynasty.Let us discuss Rudradaman.Rudradaman was a saka ruler from western kshatrapas dynasty. He was the grandson of castana. Nahapaka was an important ruler of western kshatrapas. according to one of his coins he was the son of Buhmaaka. The exact period of Nahapaka is not certain. The era was said to be the era of shaka.
Over strikes of Nahapana coins by powerful Satavahana King Gautamiputra Satkarni have been found in Nasik district. This suggests that Gautamiputra defeated Naha Pana. According to scholars such as James Burgess it was believed there is an interval of such a century between two kings.

Hence, the correct answer is option (A).

Note:The last great Satavahana ruler was Yajna Satakarni. He regained much of the territories conquered by the Shakas. His maritime power is confirmed by a coin having a two-masted ship. After him, the Satavahana power began to decline and in the third century AD it broke up into a number of small regional kingdoms.
