Hint: In the given question, we are given a mathematical expression and we have to solve it and find the value of the expression given. The given expression has two integers and an addition operator, that is, the two integers are being added up. The integers we have are, 13 and -15. So, we can clearly see that one of the integers has a negative sign. We know that positive and negative gives negative, so in short we will now subtract 15 from 13. On solving the expression, we will have the answer or the value of the given mathematical expression.

Complete step by step solution:
According to the given question, we are given a mathematical expression and we have to solve this expression and get the value for the expression.
The given expression we have is,
\[13+(-15)\]----(1)
In the above equation (1), we can see that the expression has integers and an addition operator connecting them. That is, the integers in the expression are being added. If we observe the integers once again, we can see that from the integers we have, which are 13 and -15, one of the integers has a negative sign to it, which is -15.
So, when we open up the brackets in equation (1), the positive and negative sign will give negative signs as we know that positive and negative gives negative. In other words, we will now proceed to subtract 15 from 13, that is, we have,
\[= 13-15\]
Solving the above the expression, we get the value as,
\[= -2\]
Therefore, the value of the given expression, \[13+(-15)=-2\].

Note: The negative sign in the expression should not be overlooked or it will give a different answer altogether. Also, while calculating the value of the expression \[13-15\], the answer will have a negative sign as 13 is smaller than 15, so if a larger quantity is subtracted from a smaller quantity then the answer will always be negative.
