It has Physical variations like there are valleys, mountains, hills, plains, plateaus, oceans, rivers, lakes, deserts, and wilderness. There are variations in its cultural and social features too. There are markets, railroads, ports, towns, urban communities, streets, and numerous different components made by people across the whole time of their social turn of events.

Complete Answer:
These variations provide us with a clue to understanding the relationship between the physical environment and social/cultural features. Humans then with their creative skills invented and evolved in the process of their cultural development. Eratosthenes, a Greek scholar, first coined the term geography. The word has been derived from two roots from the Greek language graphos (description) and geo (earth). Scholars defined geography as, “the description of the earth as the abode of human beings” as the earth has always been seen as the abode of human beings. Geology is not quite the same as different sciences in its technique subject and matter and yet, it is firmly identified with different orders. Geology gets its information base from all the common and sociologies and endeavours their amalgamation.

Thus, option (B) is correct.

Note:
A geographer explains the phenomena in a frame of cause and effect relationship, as it does not only help in interpretation but also foresees the phenomena in the future. Geography also studies Nature and Human interactions as an integrated whole.
