Hint: Lactic acid is also known as lactate is a chemical byproduct of anaerobic
respiration whereas tartaric acid is a naturally occurring acid usually found in fruits.

Complete answer:
Acids are compounds with a sour taste and their pH is always less than 7. There are plenty of acids present around us but we can only consume mild acids. One of the examples of mild acid that we consume is acetic acid.
-Tartaric acids are the natural acids that are found in fruits such as in grapes, papayas, etc. It
has a very strong taste and is one of the most expensive acids in terms of commercial use. On the other
hand, lactic acids are produced during the fermentation and are used in dairy products and cosmetic
products.
-Curd is obtained by coagulation of the milk. The bacteria Lactobacillus is responsible for the formation of curd and the acid present in lactic acid.
Additional information: Other acids consumed by us are citric acid present in lemon, oxalic acid in
tomato, malic acid in apple, tannic acid in tea, benzoic acid in cranberries, and caffeotannic in coffee.
They are mild in nature and are important in performing certain functions in our body.

Note: Lactic acid is also produced in muscles after strenuous exercises. Due to the lack of oxygen, our muscles utilize the anaerobic pathways of respiration, the by-product of which is lactic acid. The production and accumulation of lactic acid cause pain, cramps, and uneasiness but it is not fatal at all.
