Hint: The Earth orbits around the sun once every 365 days and rotates about its axis once every 24 hours. Day and night are because of the Earth rotating on its axis. Earth takes one day to rotate one time on its axis.
Complete answer:
Earth's rotation: We have day and night because of the reason that Earth rotates or (spins) on an imaginary line known as its axis. And many parts of the planet are facing towards the Sun or in the opposite direction. It takes 24 hrs for the world to turn all the way, and we call that a day.
Earth's revolution: Revolution is generally used as a synonym for rotation. But, in many fields such as astronomy and related to that, revolution is said as orbital revolution, Which is used when one body or a thing moves around the other, while rotation means the movement around an axis. Here is an example: The Moon revolves around the Earth and here the Earth revolves around the Sun.
Sun's rotation: Sun never rotates .either it stays in a fixed position. rather different bodies revolve around the Sun such as earth or different planets .but the sun never rotates.
Sun's revolution: Sun never revolve.it stays in a fixed place.
So, the correct answer is Option A.
Note: Earth is not perfectly round. It has a spherical type shape. The planet bulges around an equator by an extra 0.3 percent that is why it rotates about its axis. In a year the length of the earth increases.
