Krishnadeva Raya was the author of Amuktamalyada. He was the emperor of Vijayanagar who ruled the kingdom of Tuluva from 1509 to 1529. He had attained mastery in literature. It is during his rule, that this period is considered as the Golden Period for Kannada literature. He appointed eight greatest poets of his time in his kingdom. These poets were considered as the eight pillars who supported the literary assembly.
He wrote the poet 'Amuktamalyada' somewhere in the 16th century. Amuktamalyada means 'A Garland of Pearls'. It is a Telugu poem which elaborates the wedding of the Hindu Brahmin, Ranganayaka who was also considered as the avatar of Lord Vishnu and Goda Devi, also known as Andal, the daughter of Periyalvar. It is accepted that Krishnadeva Raya composed the work, in the wake of getting a fantasy in the porch of the Srikakula Andhra Maha Vishnu sanctuary, in Srikakulam Town (todays Krishna Region) on the banks of stream Krishna, in which Master Andhra Maha Vishnu showed up and trained him to compose the narrative of his wedding to Andal at Srirangam in Telugu.
So, the correct answer is option D.

Note: King Krishnadeva Raya has the largest empire after the decline of the Delhi Sultanate. The eight poets he appointed were collectively known as 'Ashtadiggajas'. Krishnadeva has written many other pieces of literature, some of which are Madalasa Charita and Rasamanjari.
