Replication is the process of formation of daughter DNA molecules by DNA polymerase enzyme using the prevailing DNA strands as a template. Transcription is that the process of RNA synthesis using the DNA template strand which is administered by RNA polymerase; any of the 2 DNA strands can function as a template. Since DNA and therefore the enzymatic machinery for replication and transcription are present within the nucleus, the processes of replication and transcription occur within the nucleus only. The primary transcript, framed by the technique for the transcription, is then altered by means of post-transcriptional changes into developing mRNA which is then moved to the cytoplasm through nuclear pores where ribosomes
(the site for protein synthesis) and amino alkanoic acid s (monomer for protein synthesis present within the amino acid pool of cytoplasm) are present to hold out the method of translation i.e. synthesis of polypeptides by polymerization of amino acids on ribosomes using the mRNA triplets as a template.

DNA replication isn't perfect. Errors happen in DNA replication when some unacceptable base is fused into the developing DNA strand. This results in mismatched base pairs, or mispairs. DNA polymerases have proofreading activity, and DNA repair enzymes have evolved to correct these mistakes. Occasionally, within the next round of replication mispairs survive and are incorporated into the genome. These mutations may haven't any consequence, they'll end in the death of the organism, they'll end in genetic disorder or cancer; or they'll give the organism a competitive advantage over its neighbors, which results in evolution by survival.
