Hint: The pylorus, which connects the stomach to the duodenum, is found in the stomach. The duodenum is the small intestine's initial portion. The pylorus and duodenum work together to aid in the movement of food through the digestive system. The pyloric sphincter is a smooth muscle band that regulates the passage of partially digested food and juices from the pylorus to the duodenum.

Complete answer:
A sphincter is a circular muscle that ordinarily keeps a natural bodily route or orifice constricted and relaxes as needed for normal physiological function. Sphincters can be found in a wide variety of animals. There are about 60 different types of sphincters in the human body, some of which are minute in size, such as the millions of precapillary sphincters. When sphincters relax, fluids and faeces are frequently released.
In the alimentary canal, there are five primary sphincters: -
a) Esophageal sphincter: Allows bolus to enter the oesophagus while reducing backflow from the oesophagus to the pharynx.
b) Cardiac sphincter - This is the sphincter that connects the oesophagus to the stomach.
c) Pyloric sphincter - This sphincter is found at the aperture of the pylorus, which connects the stomach and small intestine. It only permits a little amount of food to enter the duodenum at a time.
d) Anal sphincter - Located in the anus, this sphincter helps to control the outflow of waste from the body.
e) Ileo-ceacal valve - The ileo-ceacal valve is a sphincter muscle that connects the small and large intestines. It prevents colonic contents from being reabsorbed into the ileum.

Note:
The pyloric sphincter is a valve that connects the stomach to the small intestine. It allows stomach contents to pass through to the small intestine. It also keeps partially digested foods and digestive secretions out of the stomach.
