Hint: The Afferent "Sensory" Neuron sends impulses from the sense organs to the CNS, the Interneuron "Associative Neuron" makes a judgement based on stimuli, and the Efferent "Motor" Neuron sends impulses from the CNS to the muscle or gland that responds.

Complete answer:
In the Reflex Arc above, the three fundamental types of neurons are depicted.

The Afferent Neuron, also known as a Sensory Neuron, collects information from sensory receptors and transmits the impulse to the central nervous system. In this case, touch receptors in the skin are relaying information from the environment to the spinal cord via the Afferent "Sensory" Neuron.

The transfer station or decision-making neuron is the Interneuron or Associative Neuron. In the case of the reflex arc, the Interneuron would decide whether or not to respond based on the stimulus' intensity.

The impulse would then be returned to the muscle or gland that needed to respond by the Efferent Neuron of the Motor Neuron.

We've all had our patellar tendon smashed with a rubber hammer by a doctor. The information about the force of the strike on our tendon is received by the Afferent "Sensory" Neuron. This information is swiftly transmitted up the neuron to the spinal cord, where the Interneuron determines whether or not the stimulation requires a response. If a reaction is required, the Efferent "Motor" Neuron sends a signal to the leg muscles, causing the lower leg to react.

Note:-
Interneurons (also known as association neurons) are neurons found only in the brain and spinal cord. I.e., It's only found in the brain and spinal cord, not in the nervous system's peripheral segments. Interneurons are the most abundant of the three primary neuron types, with more than 100 billion in the human body (along with sensory and motor neurons).
