Hint: The point at which air is saturated with water vapour is called the dew point. The air which holds water vapour at its highest level is called saturated air.
Complete answer: The temperature at which the air would have to cool in order to reach saturation is called the dew point temperature. Simply put the temperature to which air must be cooled to become saturated with water vapour is called the dew point. If the air is cooled further than liquid water is formed as the airborne water vapour will become more condensed.
One thing must be known that both the terms - dew point and saturated air - are measures or values of the amount of water in the atmosphere. The physical measurement of the temperature at which the atmospheric water vapour condenses into a liquid is called the dew point and at this temperature we can say that the atmosphere is saturated with water.
-The air that contains the maximum amount of water vapour that the air can hold before it will condense out (dew or rain) is called the saturated air. Thus, we can say that saturated air is at its dew point. Another way of calling it is that its relative humidity is at 100 percent.
