Manufacturing industries, Factories, and mills, construction sites also produce large amounts of noise pollution in metropolitan cities. Because of these many industries make it mandatory for employees to wear noise-proof earplugs to reduce the effect of loud noise. People who operate tractors, lawnmowers, or any heavy construction machinery are also asked to use noise-proof earplugs.

Airplanes flying over residences or living near busy airports like Delhi and Mumbai, Trains, and metros, General vehicles on road like bikes and cars also produce a lot of noises.
