Hint: We need to know that a battle that was fought between Maharana Pratap and the Mughal forces of King Akbar on ${18^{th}}$ June $1576$ was the battle of Haldighat. The battle was won by the Mughals but the battle was continued by Maharana Pratap who continued the war and recovered several of the lost regions.

Complete answer:
We must remember that the Raja Man Singh was deputed by Akbar to fight against Maharana Pratap. Kumbhalgarh from Gogunda was set up as capital by Maharana Pratap. Mandalgarh was set up as a base region by Raja Man Singh. In${18^{th}}$ June $1576$, the battle started at Haldighati, three hours post sunrise. Haldighati is located twenty-three kilometers north of Gogunda. Hakim Khan Sur of Suri dynasty, Bhim Singh from Dobie, Ramdas Rathor, Bida mana, and his clansman of Jhala assisted Rana Pratap. But the forces of Rana Mewar were less against the forces of Mughal and they defeated Rana Pratap in the Haldighati battle. But Rana Pratap escaped from the battlefield and took protection at Koliyari in the southern Mewar. Because of the loss in the Haldighati battle, castles of Gogunda, Kumbhalgarh, and Udaipur were also captured by Mughals. During $1579$, the Mughals focused on extending other regions of the empire and seizing opportunities one by one. Maharana Pratap was almost able to regain several regions of the lost territory in the western regions of the kingdom. Chittor was part of Mughal control.
After the defeat of the battle of Haldighat, Jaunpur was made the capital by Maharana Pratap.
So, the correct answer is Option A.

Note: Haldighati was the beginning of open confrontation and habit of violence/war between the Mughal Empire and the single state of rowdy and strong Sisodias of Mewar. Maharana was able to regain several regions of the Mewar other than Chittor, Ajmer, and Mandalgarh in spite of Akbar endlessly guiding his full fleet to hunt Maharana.
