Hint: The structure which is formed is a mass of cells which forms in the ovary and that structure is responsible for the production of progesterone, estradiol, inhibin A and estrogen.

Complete answer:
In females, the structure which is formed by the ruptured follicle after ovulation is corpus luteum
which is a temporary endocrine structure in the ovaries of female and it is also involved in the
production of relatively high levels of progesterone, moderate levels of estradiol and inhibin A, and
small amounts of estrogen.
During the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, the corpus luteum develops from an ovarian follicle
and then there is release of secondary oocyte by rupturing the graafian follicle during ovulation.
First, there is formation of corpus hemorrhagicum before it becomes corpus luteum and this corpus
hemorrhagicum is a visible collection of blood that secretes progesterone.
If we look at options now:
-Option A is Corpus Luteum. This option is the correct one as in female mammals, after ovulation,
the structure which is formed by the ruptured follicle is corpus luteum which is an endocrine
structure found in female ovaries.
-Option B is Graafian follicle. It is a liquid-cavity found in mammalian ovaries and there is release of
oocyte by rupturing the graafian follicle during ovulation. In females, the structure which is formed
by the ruptured follicle after ovulation is corpus luteum not graafian follicle. Therefore, this option is
clearly incorrect.
-Option C is Placenta. Placenta is developed during pregnancy which provides oxygen and nutrients
to the growing baby and this option is incorrect as in females, the structure which is formed by the
a ruptured follicle after ovulation is corpus luteum not placenta.
-Option D is Epididymis. It is a long, coiled tube where there is storage of sperms and transport it
from testis but this option is incorrect as in females, the structure which is formed by the ruptured
follicle after ovulation is corpus luteum not epididymis.
Thus, the correct answer is option A i.e., Corpus Luteum.

Note:
The structure which is formed by the ruptured follicle is corpus luteum which is endocrine
structure found in female ovaries due to which correct option is A i.e., corpus luteum and ovulation
is release of oocyte by rupturing the graafian follicle.
