This toxin kills or paralyzes the prey. It affects both the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. It causes euphoria, drowsiness and drooping of the eyelids. It makes the person weak, since it affects the CNS, the nerve impulse gets slow, the muscle fiber does not receive stimulation, vision becomes poor. The toxin prevents the interaction of acetylcholine molecules with diaphragm which causes the paralysis of diaphragm.
