Hint:Right to education is fundamental right under article 21A for children to free and compulsory education. This is an act of Parliament of India enacted on 4 August 2009, by Parliament of India.

Complete answer:
The right to education provides free and compulsory education to every child from age 6-14years. ’Free education‘ means that no child, except a child who has been admitted by his or her parents to school which is not under or supported by the government, should get education for free. The 86th amendment in the constitution of December 2002 includes this act into constitution. This act was passed in 2005 and implemented on 1 April 2010 by Parliament.

Important provisions of right to education were:
- No school fees, capitation fees, changes or expenses.
- No screening procedure for a child or his parents for admission in school.
- A child should be invited to an age-appointed class. For this bridge courses should be designed for them.

Hence, the correct answer is option (C).

Note: India became the 135th country to introduce education as a fundamental right according to a report of Human Resource Development 1.7 million children in the group of 6-14years remain out of school and there is shortage of 508000 teachers countrywide.
