Hint: Acceleration: The difference between the final and initial velocity with respect to time is called acceleration. And it is denoted by ‘a’ and the SI unit is$m{s^{ - 2}}$. Acceleration is a vector quantity, it means it has direction as well as magnitude. There are two types of acceleration: uniform acceleration and non-uniform accelerations.

Complete step by step solution:
According to Newton's second law of newton, the rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied force in the direction of the force. Where ‘F’ is applied force, ‘m’ is the mass of an object.
$ \Rightarrow F \propto \dfrac{{dv}}{{dt}}$
Change in velocity w.r.t. is known as acceleration.
$\therefore \dfrac{{dv}}{{dt}} = a$
So following equation.
$ \Rightarrow F = ma$
Given,
m= 40kg
F=150N
Put given data in equation
$ \Rightarrow F = ma$
$ \Rightarrow a = \dfrac{F}{m}$
Put the value in equation
$ \Rightarrow a = \dfrac{{150}}{{40}}$
$ \Rightarrow a = 3.75m{s^{ - 2}}$

Note: Force is the product of mass and acceleration. Application acceleration improves the application performances using techniques like compression, caching and transmission control protocol. When the velocity of any moving is changed it is said to be change in acceleration. Change in acceleration may be positive or negative.
