Hint: For solving this question you should know about basic mathematical calculations for given statements. In this problem first we will assume the length of head and length of tail and then length of body and then solve them from the equations which we made from the given statements in question.

Complete step by step answer:
According to our question it is asked to us that if A fish is 15 cm long. It’s head is as long as its tail. When we divide it by 2 to the middle measurement of it, then it is 4.5cm. Now, calculate how long each part, i.e., head, tail and middle body.
So, to solve this question we have to assume the length of the tail and head and also the length of the body.
So, let us assume that
The length of head \[=x\]cm
And the length of tail = length of head
So, length of tail \[=x\] cm
And length of the body \[=y\] cm
As, it is given that \[\dfrac{y}{2}=4.5\] cm
\[\Rightarrow y=9\] cm
Now, \[x+x+9=15\] cm
\[2x+9=15\] cm
\[2x=6\] cm
\[x=\dfrac{6}{2}=3\] cm
So, the length of Head = length of tail \[=3\] cm
And length of body \[=9\] cm

Note: During solving these types of questions, the full length of an animal is in addition to his length of tail, length of head and length of body. We cannot leave any component from these. Unless the question is wrong. And the total length will also disturb totally.
