The demand for the shift in NEET-UG 2022 exam date has been revived again through a plea filed in Delhi High Court. In addition, the plea also demands an extra attempt in NEET 2022 exam. NTA released the NEET 2022 admit card yesterday, confirming the exam to be conducted on the set date.

In a recent update, it is identified that the demand for NEET postponement has surfaced not only on social media but in front of the court as well. Though the in-depth details of the petition are awaited, the court may attend to this matter in an urgent listing today.

The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, already confirmed earlier that the exam would not be shifted, and the medical entrance test will be conducted as per the schedule, July 17, 2022. One of the key reasons why students are demanding the NEET 2022 postponement is the clash of the exam date with CUET 2022, which is set to begin on July 15.

Commenting on this, NTA has confirmed that the NEET-UG 2022 date has been fixed after considering the CUET exam schedule. Close to 18 lakh students have registered for the upcoming NEET 2022 exam, which will be conducted across 497 Indian cities and 14 outside India.
