Aspiring medical professionals, get ready. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - NEET 2024 demands a strategic approach. Besides mastering content, understanding the marking system, historical cut-offs, and top medical colleges is crucial.

Crack NEET 2024! Check Marking, Cut-Offs & Top Colleges

Understanding the Marking System:

You can score up to 720 marks in the NEET UG 2024 exam, which lasts for 200 minutes. Four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology – each have a 35-question Section A and a flexible Section B with 15 questions (you tackle 10). Correct answers earn 4 marks, mistakes cost 1, and unanswered questions have no impact. Precise completion of 180 questions in 200 minutes is vital.

Cut-Off Threshold:

Historically, the NEET cut-off for general category students is around 720, and for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it varies between 136 and 107. These figures are past trends, not guarantees. Actual cut-offs depend on exam difficulty and test-taker numbers.
