The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced a reduction in the NEET 2024 syllabus. This means that students will have to study fewer chapters in chemistry and biology for the medical entrance exam.

NEET 2024 Syllabus Reduction| Know the Changes

The NMC has removed nine chapters from chemistry and six from biology. These chapters were considered to be relatively easy and helped students improve their scores. However, experts believe that removing these chapters is unscientific and will put unnecessary pressure on students.

Key Points:

  • The NMC has reduced the NEET 2024 syllabus.

  • Nine chapters have been removed from chemistry and six from biology.

  • Experts believe that the syllabus reduction is unscientific and will put unnecessary pressure on students.

  • Students who are preparing for NEET 2024 should be aware of the changes and make adjustments to their study plans accordingly.

The NMC's decision to reduce the NEET Syllabus has been criticized by experts and students alike. It is important for students to be aware of the changes and make adjustments to their study plans accordingly.

One expert, Hanumantha Rao, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Dean of Parishrama NEET Academy in Bengaluru, said that the deleted chapters were helpful to students in their medical education. He also raised concerns about the practical implications of the syllabus change, as students have already covered some of the deleted material.

Another expert, Monika, an II PU student and NEET aspirant, said that the syllabus change will force her to adjust her study plan. She is worried that she will not have enough time to cover all of the material that is still on the exam.
