The answer key for NEET 2020 exam i.e. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has been released online by National Testing Agency today (September 26) on the official website. Candidates can check and download the NEET answer sheet through the aforementioned websites. NEET 2020, the national medical entrance exam, was held across the country on September 13, 2020, after being deferred for a few times due to COVID-19 pandemic.

However, candidates who have appeared on the NEET exam this year must note that the window to raise objections is not opened yet. NTA has said in an official notice, “The candidates are advised to go through the same ( answer key) and keep themselves ready for challenges of the draft answer keys.”

“Please note that this public notice is not for inviting challenges of the keys which will be done later on, and for that proper notice will be issued. Therefore, kindly do not email your responses or clarification regarding the Keys and please wait for the process of raising challenges for the same,” NTA further added in the official notice.

Answer keys for all the question sets including E1- E6, F1- F6, G1-G6, H1-H6 have been released online by NTA. Upon analysing the answer keys, candidates can estimate the score while keeping in mind that four marks are awarded for every correct answer and one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

  2. Check the ‘latest announcement’ section on the homepage.

NEET candidates could raise objections as soon as the answer sheets are released till last year. There is a slight change in that schedule this year. All the candidates who appeared in the NEET exam this year can check the answer key first and then raise objections later when the window opens. As per NTA, the objection window will open shortly on the official site. Candidates can visit the official website and raise objections accordingly. In order to raise an objection against the answer key, one needs to pay Rs 1000/- per objection.

However, NEET 2020 result will also be declared shortly. As this year’s NEET exam has been deferred quite a few times due to the coronavirus pandemic nationwide, the Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank stated that there will not be any further delay starting the new sessions and results will be released as soon as possible.

This year NEET exam was held at various exam centres across the country while strictly following coronavirus precautionary measures. Out of 15.9 lakh registered candidates, a total of 14.37 lakh (which is over 85 percent) have appeared for the national medical entrance test.
