Dr. Ashwathnarayan C. N., the minister of higher education for Karnataka, made the announcement concerning the online portal. On Twitter, he shared further NEP 2020 initiatives from the Karnataka government, such as GetCETgo. The application was initially made available for KCET applicants in 2020. Now, it is modified to feature study resources for NEET and JEE Main as well.

Candidates who want to study for the NEET UG, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and Karnataka CET exams will have access to this online learning platform.

Students could access a summary, practise questions, chapter-wise tests, solutions, and revision videos for free at GetCETgo. The Minister for Higher Education spoke about the platform and said it would benefit aspirants in their second PUC year to start preparing for the exams like NEET, JEE Main, and KCET in 2023.

The NEET 2023 test is scheduled for May 7, 2023, and the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 test is scheduled for January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023. The regulatory authority will soon declare the KCET 2023 exam date.
