The institution also announced that CUET would be the basis for giving admission to the College of Art's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programme. Delhi University implemented the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) for admissions in all UG courses like BCom, BA, BTech, BSc, and more starting last year. DU accepts students from all across India and overseas. Post-graduate admissions at the institution will also be handled by CUET PG as of the forthcoming academic year.

91 colleges are associated with DU, which has three campuses: the south campus, the north campus, and the off-campus. According to Vikas Gupta, Registrar DU, it is mandatory that students should opt for the particular subjects in CUET that they have studied in Class XII. The same criteria were in place last year. However, many students faced issues due to a lack of clarity on guidelines.

DU has also launched a particular website for the coming session that will guide students on the whole admission process. The particular step will help increase awareness among the students. The first webinar on the admission process is scheduled on February 17, 2023.
