Ans: Ernest was a really humble personality who was known by people. He was a hard-working and thoughtful person. With him growing older, he became a well known person of the valley. College professors and men from far away cities used to come to meet him. Earnest used to talk with those people with utmost humbleness and sincerity. He spoke with them with an open heart. He lived his life very selflessly and did many good deeds. The reality of his life reflected very clearly on the words that he spoke and so they came out very impactful and from the depth of his heart. His face used to brighten up while talking to his audience, which made him different from other people in the valley.


2. Why did Ernest think the poet was like the Stone Face?
