ICAR AIEEA Exam 2023: Know Dates, Application, Eligibility, Syllabus, & Pattern

The exam dates for ICAR AIEEA 2023 have been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the academic year 2023-24 on its official website icar.nta.ac.in. NTA is the conducting authority that administers AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination For Admission) every year. The ICAR AIEEA exam will be organised from the 26th of April to the 29th of April, 2023.

What is ICAR Exam?

ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) AIEEA is an annual national-level exam conducted by NTA in different parts of India. The exam is an opportunity for those seeking admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate courses/programs in the field of agriculture offered by institutes affiliated with the ICAR.

ICAR Exam 2023 Dates

The ICAR exam will be conducted from April 26 to April 29, 2023, as per the announcement made by NTA. It will be an online, computer-based test. The details regarding ICAR AIEEA 2023 Notifications haven’t been released yet. 

ICAR AIEEA 2023 Application Forms

Candidates who are seeking to apply for the ICAR exam 2023 are suggested to read the given instructions below. Fill out the application forms before the deadline with the correct data; otherwise, they won’t be able to appear in the exam. Go through the application details here:

• The candidates can check the application forms for the ICAR AIEEA exam 2023 on the official website. Students can fill & submit the forms online mode only.

• Students should check their eligibility criteria before submitting the application forms.

• The application procedures to fill out the ICAR exam forms will start from 1st week of March 2023.

• Candidates must complete submitting their forms before the last date. The authority won’t accept any forms after the due date.

• The details filled in the form cannot be changed later once the application is submitted.

• Students must keep the registration number, email, and Passwords to visit the official website.

• Always take out the printout or copy after submitting the application forms.

ICAR AIEEA Exam 2023 Application Fee

• Candidates must pay their registration fee online mode, i.e. debit/ credit card or online banking.

• Application fee is non-refundable after it is paid.

• The application fee is declared by the exam administrating authority 

• Only the candidates who paid fees will be accepted to sit in the exam.

For UG Courses:

• SC/ ST/ PWD Transgender - Rs 375/-

• All other Category - Rs 750/-

For PG Courses:

• SC/ ST/ PWD Transgender - Rs 550/-

• All other Category -Rs 1100/-

ICAR AIEEA Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses: 

Here are the eligibility criteria for ICAR AIEEA UG 2023:

• Citizenship - The candidates must be a citizen of India. 

• Age Limit - The minimum age of the candidate for this exam will be 16 years till 31st August 2023

• Qualifying Exam - Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent exam from a recognised board/university with subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Also, candidates studying in the 12th class or taking the class 12th exams with upcoming results can also appear in the ICAR exam. 

• Marks Required - Candidates from the General, OBC/ UPS category must obtain 50% marks in their qualifying exam, while 40% marks are required for SC/ ST/ PC category candidates.

For PG Courses:

Here are the eligibility requirements for ICAR AIEEA exam PG 2023:

• Qualifying Exam -  Graduation with 4/6 (10+6 B.Sc. Ag.)/five years’ (B.V.Sc. & AH)/51⁄2 years (B.V.Sc. & AH) degree.

• Marks Required - Aspirants with OBC, UPS, General, and EWS categories require 60% marks, while 50% for PwD, ST, and SC categories.

• Candidates should have B.V.Sc. & A.H. with internship before the date of admission

For UG Courses:

• Physics  - Work, Energy and Power, Kinetic Theory, Motion of Particles’ System, Physical World along with Measurement, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Perfect Gas, Bulk Matter Properties, Waves & Oscillations, Current’s Magnetic Effects & Magnetism etc.

• Chemistry - Chemistry Concepts, Molecular Structure, Atom Structure, Chemical Bonding, states of Solids, Different Solutions, Elements, Properties Periodicity, Hydrogen, Equilibrium, Matter States, Gases, & Liquids etc.

• Mathematics - Mathematical Reasoning, Statics, Dynamics, Sets and Functions, Coordinate Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Vectors, Statistics & Probability, Linear Programming etc.

• Biology - Life Unit, Plant Life, Biology Application, Multicellularity, The Living World, Evolution & Origin Life, Environment & Organisms, Function & Structure etc.

ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern 2023

Take a look at the ICAR exam pattern for UG & PG courses:

For UG Courses:

• The exam will be conducted online

• Candidates must finish the paper within a total of 2.5 hours.

• Candidates must solve a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). 

• For each right answer, there will be 4 marks. 

• A 1-point negative marking for every incorrect attempt

• The mode of the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.

For PG Courses:

• Candidates must solve 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• For each right answer, there will be 4 marks, while there is 1 point of negative marking for each incorrect answer

• The question paper is in English.
