RS Aggarwal Solutions Class 7 Chapter-20 Mensuration (Ex 20G) Exercise 20.7 - Free PDF

Maths is not just numbers, a mathematical concept helps the students to understand the world around him in a clearer way. Every problem encountered in life is best understood by mathematical concepts. The concepts of mathematics are also used in the study of social, political and physical sciences.

There is a huge demand for the graduates who have good grounding in Mathematics. It helps in all the fields such as engineering, medicine, pharmacy and the like. The students, who are proficient with mathematics, can easily understand any concept presented in the books in the subject.

Brief about Mensuration

Mensuration is a branch of science which deals with the measurement of solid and liquid substances with accuracy. These are also known as Measurements and Calculation. It is one of the most common branches of Mathematics, especially in the field of engineering. Mensuration is defined as the study of the measurement of length, weight, and capacity of substances. The subject was originally used to determine the measurement of precious and semi-precious stones.

The term mensuration means both measurement and calculation. It refers to a study and measurement of the dimensions of the body and its various parts as well as the measurement of the volume of substances. As a word, mensuration is derived from the Latin mensura which means measurement. In the present context, the term mensuration refers to a mathematical science, namely, measurement. Therefore, mensuration is the study of dimension, weight, and volume of matter. A mensurating instrument may be defined as an instrument which is used in measuring the size and weight of the different substances. The mensurator is also known as measurer and the measuring instrument is also called measuring or measuring instrument.

Mensuration is defined as the study and measurement of the dimensions and weight of the body. A mensuration instrument is defined as the instrument which is used to measure the weight of the substance and to perform the calculation of the area, volume, and weight of the different substances. The mensuration instrument is the most important part of the measuring instruments. Mensuration has become an essential field of study in the modern world and is now included as an important subject in the school curriculum. As a discipline, it is concerned with measurement.

Mensuration deals with the measuring or determination of the size, shape, thickness, area, and volume of a substance. The volume of the substances is defined as the weight of the substance measured after it has been removed from its natural place.

Using Mensuration Exercise 20

In this exercise students will solve questions based on finding the area and perimeter of different figures such as a square or a rectangle.

Measuring and menstruation has been a subject for scientists and scholars for a long period of time. To carry out this study, they have used a variety of measuring instruments. For a long period of time, they have used different types of measuring instruments. The following paragraphs contain brief descriptions of different types of measuring instruments:

Tubes.

Tubes are used for storing and transporting a particular substance. A cylinder may be a tube. A cylindrical tube is a tube that is shaped in a circular form. Cylinders may be conical tubes, or have a square or hexagonal cross-section. To measure the volume of a cylinder, first the circumference of the cylinder is marked and then the volume is computed. For example, if the length, height, and radius of a cylinder is 16, 12, and 10 respectively, then the volume of the cylinder is calculated using the formula of:

V = πr2h.

A ruler.

A ruler is an instrument used to measure the length, width, and thickness of a certain substance. If a ruler is used to measure the length, width, and thickness of a substance, it is called a linear ruler. If the ruler is a cylindrical ruler, it is called a cylindrical ruler. These can be purchased from any high-class pharmacy or a material store. The linear ruler can be of the following types:

a. Straight ruler

b. Cylinder ruler

c. Compass ruler

The measurement of length with a straight ruler can be done as follows: The long end of the straight ruler is placed on the surface and the other end is slid until it comes in contact with the object or substance to be measured. The length of the object or substance to be measured is then calculated by measuring the lengths of the straight ruler in the two different places. This process can be done with any type of object or substance. In this context, the length of the ruler, in centimeters, is known as the measure. The measure of length is measured in meters and centimeters. Thus, a measure of length is measured in centimeters or meters and the unit of measure is the centimeter or meter.
