Whole numbers are the set of numbers that include natural numbers and the Zero “0” together. Chapter 4 deals with the whole numbers and how they react when certain operations are applied to them. The starting point is marked as zero followed by the whole numbers in equal segments. Here, we can perform operations like addition, subtraction and multiplication. In addition, students should move towards the right of the table and for subtraction, move to the left. On dividing a whole/natural number with zero, it cannot be defined. The addition and multiplication of two numbers can be done in any order but it is not the same for subtraction and division.
