NEET, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test, is expected to be postponed till September 2021. In addition, the upcoming JEE Main 2021 sessions are expected to take place in July and August 2021. The National Testing Agency, on the other hand, has yet to make such an official pronouncement.

The Ministry of Education is yet to make a final judgement on these national level entrance examinations, NEET and JEE Main 2021. Exam administrators are currently investigating the COVID 19 scenario in various states and UTs.

On Friday, June 25 at 4 P.M., Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will go live on social media channels to answer students' questions on the board exams. While the CBSE has decided to cancel the class 10 and 12 board exams, Pokhriyal is expected to announce the result dates as well as discuss college admissions and upcoming competitive exams.

Taking to Twitter, the Union Education Minister stated that during his Live interaction on social media on Friday, he will answer questions from students, teachers, and other stakeholders. As a result, students with questions can reach out to the Education Ministry's personal Twitter and Facebook accounts, as well as the Ministry's official account.

While addressing students, Pokhriyal said, “Dear students, I am constantly receiving a lot of your messages and information. Also, you have expressed concern about my health. For this, I would like to express my thanks to all of you and say that I am feeling healthy now."

He further added, “Some of your apprehensions have also been expressed in your messages. But was unable to communicate with you due to his ongoing treatment in the hospital. If you have any other query related to CBSE exams then you can send me on Twitter, Facebook, or also by mail."

NEET 2021 is currently scheduled to take place on August 1, 2021. However, as the application procedure has not yet begun, the test is likely to be postponed to a later date. JEE Main 2021 sessions in April and May, as well as JEE Advanced, were, on the other hand, postponed earlier due to COVID 19. The pending exams might be conducted either by July end or August given the situation of the ongoing pandemic.

Board exams for CBSE classes 10 and 12 have been cancelled, and the board has also declared result schemes for both classes. Schools are currently uploading students' grades to a CBSE-created website, and the results for both tests are expected in July. However, the exams in private format (for those students who planned to take the exams), repeated students, and compartment exams are all still in doubt.
