ICSE, ISC Syllabus 2022: In a recent announcement by the CISCE, the Council has decided to reduce the ICSE, ISC 2022 syllabus for the Class 10 and 12 students. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination has released an official notification on its official website detailing the same. This news comes as a relief to the students ahead of the upcoming ICSE and ISC Board exams 2022. The ICSE and ISC Class 10 and 12 syllabus has been reduced for all major subjects. CISCE has taken the decision to curtail the syllabus for the Class 10 and 12 students only after consulting with various subject experts. The ICSE, ISC syllabus reduction has been done in a manner that will not compromise when it comes to the quality of education Two official notices have been released by the CISCE in English as well as other languages where details on the subjects for which the syllabi has reduced are provided. ISCE Class 10 Syllabus 2022: The subjects for which the ICSE syllabus for the 2022 board exams has been reduced include - Geography, History and Civics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English and Indian Language, Economics, Commercial Applications, Computer Applications, Economics Applications, Commercial studies, Environmental Applications, Physical Education, Home Science and Yoga.
ISC Class 12 Syllabus 2022: Among the subjects for which the Class 12 ISC Syllabus 2022 has been reduced include - Geography, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, English & Indian Language, Economics, Accounts, Commerce, Business Studies, Computer Science, Environmental Science, History and Biotechnology.
Meanwhile, the CISCE is reported also in the process of reviewing the remaining subjects of ICSE and ISC Class 10 and 12. The Council will identify the portions from the syllabus that can be reduced from these subjects and will notify the same on its official website in due course of time. All the CISCE affiliated schools across the country must ensure that the prescribed modified ICSE, ISC 2022 Syllabus is followed.
