Introduction of InCho

Indian National Chemistry Olympiad (InChO), being an international level exam, has a definite exam pattern. The students who are appearing for this exam are required to understand this pattern in order to hold a grasp over the exams. Attempting the exam without knowing the pattern is similar to wandering in the dark. Students are advised to study the exam pattern thoroughly before making up their minds to give the exams. The students will know the pattern of the question paper from the model or the sample question papers that are being provided by us. We provide the solved papers which are designed as per the standards of the exam. These papers will give a student an idea of the pattern of the question paper.

The recent trend of the question paper as of 2023 consisted of 80 Multiple Choice Questions. The MCQ questions are equally the same. It has four answers, among which the student needs to choose the correct one. There is negative marking applicable in this type of exam as well. The pattern of questioning is too of a standard form, and they focus mainly on the student’s conceptual knowledge rather than on their memorising capability. The students are thus suggested to prepare with clarity, focusing conceptually.

InChO is a three-hour competitive exam. It is being held in January or February. The exam is competitive in its approach.
